Gastonia- Catherine "Cathy" Nance Emory, 52, passed away on February 15, 2017 at her residence.
She was born in Columbus, Georgia to the late James Wilton and Brunhilde Streigel Nance.
Cathy was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend that will be greatly missed!
Left to cherish her memories includes her husband, Michael Emory; daughters, Jessica Pugh (Wacy); Karin Groth (Andrew); sister, Karin Nestor (Donald); brothers, Mark Nance, Jerry Nance (Sandra) and James Nance (Patti);
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m., Monday, February 20th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 5:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home.
