Gastonia-Carroll David Johnson, 77 of Gastonia passed away May 26, 2013 at his residence.
He was a native of Gaston County, born January 22, 1936.
David was a retired textile foreman in the dye house.
Survivors include his son, Van Johnson and wife Claudette of Ranlo; grandchildren, Sherry and Jacoby Johnson;
great grandchildren Carolina, Deston and Rhiannon Hibberts;
and his special friend Kathryn Staley and her family
Visitation will be 1hour prior to the service
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 29th at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Ben Smith officiating
Interment will be private
