Gastonia-Carolyn Cabe "Carol" Henderson, 71 of 1514 Conrad Avenue, Gastonia went home to be with the Lord June 25, 2011 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Gaston County, born March 31, 1940 to the late
Lester and Drucilla Ayers Cabe. Carol was retired from Homelite/John Deere
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law Dan R Rhyne, Jr. and two sisters Dorothy Parton and Barbara Wilson.
Survivors include her daughters Christine H. Helms and husband Robert A. Helms of Kings Mt., and Connie H Rhyne of Gastonia;
Grandchildren, Blake Rhyne, Madison Rhyne and Amara Helms;
Brother, Floyd Cabe; Sisters, Faye C. Allen, Shirley C. Brackett, Joyce C Swicegood, Patsy Mesimer and Helen McCaskill
Father of the her children, Charles W. Henderson
The family will receive friends 6:00 ' 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Interment will be private
