She was born in Gaston County on August 25, 1948 to the late William Bart Arnold and Rachel Yount Arnold.
She was a member of Church of Christ. She was owner of Carolyn's Beauty Shop and later worked at Wachovia Bank.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Noah Edward Brittain, Sr;
her children, Noah E Brittain, Jr (Jan), Leslie Mason Lykins (Darrell);
Grandsons, John McNabb, Noah E Brittain, III and Austin Brittain;
great grandsons, Colton and Wyatt McNabb; brothers, Darel and Jeff Arnold
The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home prior to the
4:00 pm Graveside services at Gaston Memorial Park, Mausoleum Chapel of Peace.
