Bessemer City-Carl Gary Bryan, Jr., 61, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 19, 2019 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Charlotte and is the son of the late Carl Gary Bryan, Sr. and Robbie Caldwell Bryan.
Carl was a former employee of Pharr Yarns. He loved to fish and loved the mountains. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.
Carl is survived by his fiancée, Faye O'Dell; 3 loving daughters, Chastity Bryan, Debbie Burtrum (Chad), Christina Kirkland (Chad); 2 loving sons, Chad Bryan, Matthew Bryan; 3 loving sisters, Darlene Bush, Judy Current (Terry), Diane Bell; 1 loving brother, James Bryan; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2019 with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Marantha Baptist Church, 104 Downey Lake Road, Dallas with Rev. Chris Doster officiating.
