Gastonia – Camilla Baker Withers, 76, entered into her Heavenly Home on June 2, 2016 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Gaston County on April 18, 1940 to the late Thurman and Willie Fisher Baker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Dixon and brothers, Jack, Max and Gary Baker.
Camilla attended Fairview Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Camilla is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Ronald "Ron" Withers, Sr.; daughter, Susan Blount (Jason); sons, Ronald "Rocky" Withers, Jr. (Cindy) and Kevin Withers (Kathi);
grandchildren, Jacob, Courtney, Holly, Mikayla, Aiden, Zach and Allison
Family will receive friends on Monday, June 6th from 11:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. prior to the Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m., Fairview Baptist Church, 1706 West Davidson Avenue, Gastonia, NC with Reverend Joe Lawing and Reverend Keith Whitener officiating. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
