Gastonia – Buddy Wayne Crawford, 67, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Belaire Health Care Center of Gastonia.
He was born in Mecklenburg County on January 8, 1951 to the late A.C. and Shirley Glenn Crawford; and he had grown up in McAdenville.
Buddy enjoyed golf, fishing, playing pool and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. Buddy retired from what were Easco, Danaher and now Apex with over 25 years of service. He also served in the National Guard.
Buddy is survived by his wife of 47 years, Liz Crawford;
his children, Kevin (Keaton) Crawford, Scott Crawford, LeAnn (Larry) Dunlap, and Tysha (Bobby) Toscano;
grandchildren Tyler, Cameron, Nathan, Brendan, Elias, Madison, Chloe, Sophie and Brooke;
sisters, Barbara (Boyce) Lingerfelt, Carol Bridges;
and a large extended family.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 22nd at Armstrong Cemetery, Osceola Street, Gastonia with military honors by the Gaston County Honor Guard, and also with the Releasing of the Doves.
