Bud C. Jordan

Gastonia- Bud C Jordan, Jr. 78 of 465 Crowders Creek Road, Gastonia passed away June 5, 2012 at his residence.
He was a native of Anderson County, SC born March 4, 1934 to the late Bud C Jordan, Sr and Sarah Agnes Brown Jordan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Phillip, two sisters and two grandchildren Mitchell Hallman and Christy David
Bud retired from Firestone after more than 39 years of service, he also attended Holland Memorial Baptist Church.

He was survived by loving wife of 45 years, Vivian Parham Jordan;
His daughters, Evon Jordan, Melinda Lunsford, Deborah Wilson and Bobbie Cantrell; brothers, Mike, Danny and Bunny;
sisters Susie, Pat and Peggy; special grandson Patrick Jordan and a special grandson and caregiver Charlie David
and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren


Celebration of Life service will be 7:00pm Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Sawyer officiating
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 prior to the service
Graveside will be at 11:00am Friday, June 8 Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Releasing of the Doves
Pallbearers will be Burton Cantrell, Burgan Linley, Nathan Pruitt, John Lunsford, Joey Jordan and Charlie David
