Gastonia-Mr. Bruce Laytham, 59, of 1140 Bridgewood Lane went home to be with the Lord October 13, 2010.
He was a native of Jersey City, New Jersey, born November 24, 1950 to the late Alfred and Marie Fisher Laytham. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Alfred Laytham and a sister, Margaret Stoto
Mr. Laytham was owner and operator of B & S Express and was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran.
Survivors include two brothers, Samuel Laytham of Summerville, SC and Michael Laytham of Bradley Beach, NJ
And a sister, Pat Claffey of Spring Hill, FL;
Several nieces and nephews

Celebrate of life service will be 11:00 Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben Smith officiating

The family will receive friends 9:00 until 11:00 prior to the service at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home
Interment will follow at 2:00 at Salisbury National Cemetery,
501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC
