Brenda Ferguson Lunsford

Gastonia – Brenda Carol Ferguson Lunsford, 70, entered into heaven on February 6, 2023 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

Brenda was born in Gaston County on February 13, 1952 to the late Bobbie and Jackie Crane Ferguson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Ferguson.

She was a retired textile worker with over 35 years of dedicated service at A & E. She was a member of the First Assembly of God. Brenda was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She loved cooking for her family and was well known for her baking goods for her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time by the pool with her family.

She is survived by , Mike Lunsford; her children, Michael Lunsford, Sabrina Polk (Kevin); her grandchildren, Abbigail and Isaac Lunsford, Cameron Seagraves and his daughter, Amira;  Emilee Polk and Ashley Hendricks; brother, Gary Ferguson.

The family will receive friends at from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 9 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 in the Chapel with Pastor Dennis Boyce officiating.

 Interment will follow at Westview Gardens with The Releasing of the Doves.

Pallbearers will be Isaac Lunsford, Cameron Seagraves, Antonio Pierce, Tommy Crowe, Kenny Frisbee and Matt Phillips.
