Dallas-Brenda Melton Jewell, 68 of Dallas passed away peacefully April 16, 2013 at the Robin Johnson House.
She was a native of Gaston County, NC born April 29, 1944 to the late Jim Melton and Lona Mae Howard Frankum.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Mildred
Brenda was a cosmetologist with Becadon for many years. She was a loving mother and friend to all.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly D Jewell of the home;
Brothers, Paul and Glenn Melton, Ronnie and David Frankum;
sisters Faye Parker and Peggy Melton Moore;
9 nieces and 5 nephews, and a number of great nieces and nephews
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00pm Monday, April 22nd prior to the 2:00 pm Chapel service at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Walker officiating
Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City
