Gastonia- Brenda Kay Hackett, 58, passed away August 6, 2009 at her residence.
She was a native of Rutherford County, N.C., daughter of the late Lowery Austin and Mattie Burr Smith Morrow.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 11 at 11:00 am at Chapel Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Overton Officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home.
