Gastonia – Brenda Faye Campbell Henson, 68 passed away suddenly on April 4, 2018 at her residence.
She was born in Rutherford County on October 1, 1949 to the late Dewey and Vinner Randall Campbell. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Keith Campbell and nephew Channing Nicholson.
She was a loving mother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed!
Brenda was a cosmetologist for J.C. Penney and several others.
Left to cherish her memories includes her daughter, Chasity Massey and husband Troy; and their son Logan; Chastity's half-sisters Alicia Baucom and Melanie Sumner; brother Mike Campbell and wife Gina, sisters Kay Cape, Pat Baker, Diane Hannah and husband David; nieces and nephews, Shannon and Justin Campbell, Shane and Scott Hannah, Dalton Campbell, Angela Nicholson and Derek Baker; several great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday April 10th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday April 11th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend David Stewart officiating.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park
Pallbearers will be Shane Hannah, Dalton Campbell, Scott Hannah, Derek Baker, Shannon Campbell, Justin Campbell and Dylan Nicholson.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the family.
The family will be at the home of Kay Cape, 2102 Hemlock Avenue, Gastonia, NC
