Brandon Carl Watts
1991-2015
Dallas – Brandon Carl "Cowboy" Watts, 24, passed away suddenly as a result of an automobile accident on November 2, 2015.
Brandon was born in Gaston County, NC on April 30, 1991 to Tabatha Byers Watts and Rodney Lee Watts, Sr.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roland and Judy Watts.
Brandon was a devout follower of God and a loving son, grandson and fiancée. He loved the Lord first then his family. Brandon was a wonderful young man who will be greatly missed by all! He was a truck operator with a Class A-CDL license. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bull riding and was a very talented guitar player and musician. He enjoyed serving as a volunteer at Victory Farms, a local therapeutic horse farm for people with special needs.
Brandon will be remembered by his family and friends for his BIG HEART…..
Left to cherish his memories includes his parents, Rodney and Tabatha Byers Watts; his fiancée, Melissa Andrea Verner; brother, Rodney Lee Watts, Jr. and wife Dana; nephew, Brayden Lee Watts; maternal grandparents, Sylvia and Dennis Byers; special aunts, Brenda Rollins and Marlo Taylor; Uncles Byron Graham and Tony Watts; and many wonderful cousins.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 4th at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home.
A Celebration of life service will be held 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, November 5th at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Darin Gibbs officiating.
Pallbearers will be Justin Rollins, Nathan Rollins, Daniel Rollins, Glenn Verner, Bobby McKinney and Chase Taylor
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Singing Tower 3 section.
