Gastonia-Bonnie Viola Dockery, 95 of Gastonia passed away September 3, 2011 at her daughter's home. Bonnie was a native of Tellico Plains, TN., born April 11, 1916 to the late Seymour and Cassie Green Aldridge.
She was retired from Firestone Mill with over 30 years service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter Luther Dockery and Ten brothers and sisters
She is survivor by her son Denny D Dockery and his wife Connie of Gastonia; a daughter Wanda Dockery Gholson and her husband Charlie of Dallas; a granddaughter Donna Joan McAllister and her husband Larry; two great grandchildren, Tori and Travis McAllister; Three Stepchildren, Brett Conrad, Lorrie Conrad and Anthony Romero; Four step great grandchildren
Graveside services will be 3:30pm Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Hollywood Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Smith officiating
The family will receive friends 2:00-3:00 pm prior to the service at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
And other times at her daughter's home
