Gastonia- Bobby Gene Black 'The Plumber' , 77of 1770 Oak Hollow Road, Gastonia went to be with his Heavenly Father April 29, 2012 at the Alexandria Place.
He was a native of Gaston County, born December 5, 1934 to the late Obie and Ina Coleman Black.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jeanette Griffin Black who died 11-29-99.his sons, Richard Perry Black and Bobby Gene Black, Jr

He was survived by his children, Anderson Black and wife Devra of Gastonia; Scott DeWayne Black of Liberty, NC, Sherry Black Turner and husband Gary of Liberty, NC
Brothers, G.L. Black, Paul Black and Randy Black; Sister Annie Sue Hall and husband Mike;
Six Grandchildren Shannon, Jason, Angel, Joshua, Amber and Scotty
and Fifteen Great Grandchildren
Special nephew Patrick Hall and wife Cindy

Celebration of Life service will be 2:00pm Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Haney officiating
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service
Inurnment will be private
