Bobbie M. Foxx

Gastonia- Bobbie Messick Foxx, 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 16, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Bobbie was a native of Gaston County, born December 16, 1929 to the late Ned and Iva Messick. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dewey Foxx, sisters Patsy Moser and Betty Kendrick
She had retired after a long career with Harris Teeter and was a member of
Sandy Plains Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, J.W. (Barbara) Foxx; her daughter, Theresa Cooper;
Brothers Jimmy Messick and Carlton (Doris) Messick;
sisters Marlene Van Tassel; grandchildren Rev. Rick (Patrice)Womack, Debra and Jay Foxx ; great grandchildren Joshua and Alyssa Womack

Celebration of Life service will be 2:00pm, Thursday at Sandy Plains Baptist Church with Reverend Richard Brown officiating
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00pm prior to the service at Sandy Plains Baptist Church
Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the Releasing of the Doves
