Blandina G. Beatty

Gastonia-Mrs. Blandina Glover Beatty, 91 went home to be with the Lord September 11, 2010.
She was a native of Mecklenburg County, born January 5, 1919 to Clyde Patrick Glover, Sr. and Margaret Annie Hicks Glover.
Mrs. Beatty worked at Belk Stores Service over 12 years . She was a member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church for over 40 years where she was a Senior Choir member, former director and organizer of the Golden Chorus, served as a Girls Auxillary Leader, Adult dept. Secretary of the Sunday School.
She is preceded in death by parents and her husbands, Jacob Clyde Beatty and Paul A Ray
Brothers, Bennie, William, Clyde, Jr., Fred, Douglas, and Charles Glover and a sister, Juanita Glover Beaty
Survivors include her daughters, Shelbie Beatty Morgan and husband James B. Morgan of Gastonia, Tina Marie Beatty of Charlotte;
Five grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren and Four Great Great Grandchildren
Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Sandy Plains Baptist Church with Pastor Stephen Hensley and Pastor Richard Brown
Family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 prior to the service
Interment will follow at the church cemetery
