Belmont- Billy Ray McPeters, 65, passed away January 6, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late James Edgar and Marie Redd McPeters. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Mary Berry.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin R. and William McPeters, a daughter, Marie Ann Weber, four brothers, Jimmy, James, Gerald, and Timothy McPeters, two sisters Patricia Burnett, Faye James, grandchildren Chris, Alan, Taylor, Elizabeth, Johnathan, and Billy.
A Funeral Service will be held 12:00 pm, Friday January 8 in the Chapel at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Painter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will follow at Armstrong Cemetery.
