Billy Anthony King

Billy Anthony King, 64, entered into Heaven on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Billy was born in Mecklenburg County and was the son of the late Dalton and Loretta "Doodle" Morgan King.

Billy loved his family with all his heart and loved to surprise his loving family with gifts, he loved the beach, gardening, loved to be outside and loved fishing and camping.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Karen Beaty King; one daughter, Carmon Phillips and husband Warren of Liverpool, New York; two sons, Chevis King and wife Ashley of Gastonia, Nathan King and wife Angie of Cramerton; five grandchildren, Elisabeth Phillips, Daniel Phillips, Stephen Phillips, Zoey Bell, Ethan King; father-in-law, Herman Beaty.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2018 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 5:00 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Pastor Braxton East officiating.
