He was born September 14, 1943 to the late Jesse Almond Creecy and Ruth Long Creecy.
He was a retired truck driver. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was also a member of the Oasis Temple.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Susan Stroup Creecy;
Step-Daughter, Leisa Deal; grandchildren, Michael Deal and Joey Lipka
Graveside services will b e 4:00 p.m., Thursday at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jan Deans and also with Military Honors by the Gaston County Honor Guard
