Dallas-Mrs. Billie Hovis Robinson, 88 of Dallas, NC died peacefully on August 6, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 10, 1924 in Gaston County to the late Giles L and Blanche Holland Hovis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 55 years, Thomas William Robinson, Sr who died October 14, 2001
and a brother Jack Hovis, and Sisters, Betty Jane Dixon and Blair Peoples
Billie was a member of the Dallas Baptist Church and did administration work for Dr. Gregory's office .
Graveside services will be 11:00 am Thursday, August 9 at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Abrams and Rev. Barron Lee officiating
The family will receive friends at Tommy and Jeans home at 2111 Shadwell Court, Gastonia
She was survived by her son Thomas W. Robinson, Jr and wife Jean H. of Gastonia;
Grandchildren, Meredith Hager and husband Dee of Stanley,
Matt Robinson of Huntersville; Great Grandchildren, Gracie and Will Hager;
Sisters, Ramona Haney of Gastonia and Pat Derreberry of TN.
The family would especially like to thank Dr. Ronald Digby and staff and to Gaston Memorial Hospital IUC Doctors and Nurses
