Cramerton, Billie Ann Gaddy 69, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Greg Gamble.

Billie Ann attended schools in Gastonia and Appalachian University. She had a career in finance and retired in 2008 from the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB) Administration Department. After retirement, she and Jim moved back to Gastonia to be near family. In retirement, she especially enjoyed vacation trips with her Darling Jim and her family activities; and her social bond with old friends and her "Bridge Buddies". Billie Ann was a wonderful mother, wife, friend and professional associate to all. She loved her family and many friends very much and she will be missed by all of us. Please let us all remember that beautiful smile that she used to brighten every day that we knew her!
