Gastonia - Beverly Stover Windsor, 82, entered into Heaven on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Hagerstown, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Carl and Madeline Stover.

She retired after 32 years of service with the Gaston Health Department.

Beverly was an avid, enthusiastic and talented golfer. She started playing golf in her sixties and won many team events playing with and against men. She and her companion of 17 years, Tommy Crump, were very accomplished dancers.

Beverly leaves to cherish her memories are her three daughters, Debbie Anders and husband Ted of Texas, Sharon Bohanan and companion Steve Howell of Belmont, Loretta Windsor and companion Michael Thompson of Oregon; her companion of 17 years, Tommy Crump of Conover; one sister, Pat Harmon and husband Ronnie of Georgia; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great, great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Crane officiating

Burial will be private and at a later date.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 52 years, Kenneth Martin Windsor.
