She was born August 4, 1933 to the late William and Martha Hampton Ray.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years Robert H. Long.
She was retired from Gaston Memorial Hospital after 28 years of service and was a member of East Garrison Baptist Church.
She had four children, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be private.
