Beulah Baucom Jackson

Gastonia – Beulah Baucom Jackson, 90 of Gastonia went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Carillon Assisted Living.
She was born August 2, 1923 in Union County, daughter of the late William Heron and Leola Treadway Baucom.
Mrs. Jackson was a member of Rankin Lake Baptist Church where she loved to sing. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Jackson retired from Gaston County Schools with over 24 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Richard Melvin Jackson; Brothers Beacher, Marley, Joe and Sisters Ollie Baucom and Bessie B Johnson
She is survived by her son Richard Melvin Jackson, Jr.; a daughter Annette J. Simmons and husband Curt; grandchildren Amber D Jackson and Samuel J Jackson; and a great grandson Jackson Lee Parker; sisters Audna B Blackmon and Doris Baucom
The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 am prior to the service.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Rankin Lake Baptist Church, with Rev. Jim Loftis officiating.
Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park with the Releasing of the Doves
