Betty M. Wilson

Dallas-Betty Mitchem Wilson, 82 of Dallas passed away peacefully March 14, 2012 at her residence.

She was a native of Gaston County, born August 15, 1929 to the late Marshall and Mamie Jarrell Mitchem.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James Robert Wilson, her long time friend Jim Torrence and her brothers Jerry Mitchem and Paul Mitchem and his wife Hazel; a nephew Jeff Mitchem.

Betty was a member of Dallas Presbyterian Church, and had retired from Danoca
Survivors include her sister, Alene M. Click of Dallas;
a sister-in-law Joyce Mitchem of Gastonia;
nieces and nephews, Kenneth Click, Linda C. Millwood, Sandra Graham, Steve Mitchem, Penny Jenkins, Danny Mitchem, Sherry Mitchem and Kelly Mitchem and several great nieces and nephews
The family will receive 6:00 until 8:00pm Friday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Millwood officiating
Interment will follow at the White Jenkins Family Cemetery
Pallbearers will be Austin Gehring, Danny Mitchem, Kelly Mitchem, Jerry Millwood, Jr., Chad Millwood and Chad Philps
