Betty Stephens Cantrell
1944-2015
Bessemer City- Betty Sue Stephens Cantrell, 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 22, 2015.
She was born in Union County, Georgia on January 6, 1944 to the late Edward Mack and Iona Johnson Stephens.
Betty was a member of First Wesleyan Church. She retired from Glenn Printing with over 40 years of service.
Survivors include her son Scott Gregory Cantrell and his partner Gerald Endress of Raleigh; brothers Samuel and wife Geraldine Stephens of High Shoals, Daniel Stephens of Gastonia; sisters Virginia and husband Henry Eby of Duncanville, TX, Lucille Franklin of Bessemer City, Mary Jo Parker of Statesville, Judy Stephens of Gastonia; ex husband Burton D. Cantrell and wife Bobbie; special niece and caregiver Melody Predzimirski; special sister and caregiver Mary Jo Parker, special sister-in-law and caregiver Geraldine Stephens, special and true friends for 48 years Jerilyn Glenn Davis and John David Glenn and family; and many other nieces and nephews
Celebration of life service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 25th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Wes Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00apm prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Luke section
