Dallas- Betty Kirkland McDonald, 78, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2015.
She was born in Swain County, NC on September 17, 1936 to the late Thomas Lee and Amanda Cloer Kirkland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank McDonald; daughter, Cathy McDonald Frady; brothers, Walter Kirkland, Orville Kirkland and Willard Kirkland; sisters, Pauline Kirkland and Katie Mathis
She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed
Survivors include her son, Franklin D. McDonald; brother, Ray Kirkland, sisters, Belle Smith and Tommie Bradley; grandchildren, James Edwards Frady, Jr. and Nicholas Dale Frady
Celebration of life service will be Wednesday, June 3rd at 4:00 pm at Dallas Wesleyan Church
(WayPoint) with Pastor Adrian Ballard and Pastor Joe Edwards officiating.
Interment will be private
