Gastonia-Betty F Jenkins, 77 passed away October 28, 2011 at Gaston Memorial Hospital, she was the wife of the late Paul W (Sonny) Jenkins.
Survivors include her son Johnny Ray (J.R.) Hope and wife Nina of Shelby; daughter Racena McConnell and husband Tim of Summerville, SC; Grandchildren Melissa Alexander, Lauren McConnell Caysey Copeland, Paul McConnell, Adam Alexander all of Summerville, SC; Christina Richards of Hawaii, John Paul Hope, Kenny Hope and David Hope of Shelby; John D Short, Jr of Gastonia;
Ten Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents John Archie and Macie Morrison Bowlin, her son Mickey Hope and a daughter Tammy Alexander
Celebration of Life service will be 1:00pm Saturday, November 5 at the Upper Room Tabernacle, 107 Washington St, Gastonia, NC with Pastor Norman Greene officiating
Interment will be private
