She was born in Gaston County on June 26, 1932 to the late Clarence "CW" and Julia Wilson Cashion. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Blair "Shorty" Hicks.
Left to cherish her memories includes her daughter, Julia Lynn Evans of Gastonia; her second daughter, Tammy Robinson Gibson of Gastonia, NC; her chosen sister, Krystle Morton Dick of Georgia.
Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Lutheran Chapel, 702 North New Hope Road, Gastonia, NC 28054.
Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation Service is serving the family.
