Benny C. Queen

Gastonia-Benny Charles Queen, 60 of Gastonia passed away February 22, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Gaston County, born July 11, 1951 to Ruth Campbell Queen and the late Ed Queen.
He was preceded in death by his father.

Benny had worked as service manager for Haygood Lincoln Mercury and also the City of Gastonia.

Survivors include his mother Ruth Campbell Queen of Gastonia, his children Connie Queen and husband Darrell Hutchens of Yadkinville, NC; Randy Queen and wife Alice of Gastonia; and Karen Queen of Kings Mt.;
a sister Brenda Blanton and husband Rick Blanton of Gastonia
grandchildren Madison and Dalton Queen;
his fianc'e Ann Spell,
also his beloved pets, Dolly, Tweedy, Harley and Rusty.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00pm Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Memorial service will follow at 2:00pm, Sunday in the Chapel
Interment will be private
