Benny W. Britton

Dallas Benny Willis Britton, 62, died Saturday, May 2, 2009 at The Robin Johnson House . He was a native of Gaston County, born July 24, 1946 to the late Benjamin Washington and Katherine Black Willis Britton. Preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gloria B. Leonard Benny was a Vietnam War Veteran in the U.S. Navy, and retired from AT & T with more than 20 years of service. Survivors include his wife of 42 yrs., Roxanna Cloninger Britton; his children: Andy Britton of Dallas; Benjy Britton of Texas; Becky Mauney and husband Jeff of Bessemer City; Brothers: Dan Britton and his wife Melanie, of Dallas Don Britton and his wife Priscilla, of Dallas Dale Britton and his wife Anne, of Monroe Sister, Judy Hovis and her husband Blair of Bessemer City Grandchildren: E.J. Call, Victoria Call, Zia Mauney, Kaylee and Kyle Mauney Memorial service will be 11:30 am, Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, Dallas with Rev. Kevin Mackey Family will receive friends 10:00-11:30 prior to the service and 3:00-7:00 each day until the service on Saturday at the home of Becky Mauney, 702 N 6th St., Bessemer City, NC Interment will be Private In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Holy Communion Lutheran Church, P.
