Barbara Autrey Palmer

Lowell-Barbara Autrey Palmer, 75 of Lowell went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, March 23, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was a native of Cumberland County, born July 15, 1937 to the late Elmer Lennox Autrey and Helen Bowen Ervin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard Lee Palmer.
Barbara was a member of McAdenville Baptist Church and had retired from Gaston Memorial Hopsital.
Survivors include her loving daughter Debra Jean Palmer of the home,
her brothers, Jerry Autrey, Tommy Hulcey, Donald Hulcey and David Hulcey,
her sisters Mary A Blackwood and husband Wayne, Faye A Hulcey;
her special and dear friend Joe Hamme;
and her little dear special dogs, Scooter and Jenny
Celebration of life service will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, March 26 at McAdenville Baptist Church will reverend Walt Griggs officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the service.
Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park with the releasing of the doves.
