Belmont-Barbara Jean McCombs Frederick, 60 of 505 Ferrell Avenue, Belmont passed away peacefully July 16, 2014 at the Robin Johnson House.
She was born in Gaston County, NC on August 2, 1953 to the late George and Virginia Westmoreland McCombs.
She was a member of Alexander Memorial Baptist Church, Belmont.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Frank McCombs and a sister Mildred Young
She is survived by her Fiancée Todd Stephens of the home; brother Kenneth McCombs and wife Doris, sisters Sybil Crocker and husband A.W.; Margaret Hamrick and husband Jerry; Several nieces and nephews
A Celebration of Life service will be 5:00 pm, Saturday, July 19th at Alexander Memorial Baptist Church, 208 S. Main Street, Belmont, North Carolina with Reverend Jerry Pennington officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
