He was born in Gaston County on March 7, 1949 to the late Fred Bennett Wall and Verlena Bowman Wall. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Wayne Douglas Wall and a sister Barbara McPhearson.
He was a self employed electrician and was the owner of A & L Appliances.
Left to cherish his memories includes his wife, Cassie Madison Dowdy Wall; his daughters Christina Wall and Elaine Walls; 2 sons;
step children Kaylee Dowdy, Miranda Dowdy and Nathan Davis; brothers Fred B Wall, Jr. and Michael Wall; sister Glenda McDonald; grandchildren, Justin Keeter, Tristan Wall and Jonathan Penley, Jr., step grandchildren Abigail and Isabella Otero, Khloe Dowdy and Stella Bowman; best friend Mop Mop his dog
The family will receive friends from12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 23rd at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Greene officiating.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
