Gastonia – Annette Stroupe Simmons, 52 went home to be with her Lord and Savior November 18, 2016 at Meadowwood Nursing Center.
She was born in Mecklenburg County on July 13, 1964 to the late Claude and Evelyn Deal Stroupe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Deal.
Annette worked in Business Administration most of her life. She was a member of Springwood Church of God and had attended at East Belmont Baptist Church years ago. Annette loved spending time with her grandkids and working search word puzzles.
Left to cherish her memories is her sons, Casey Simmons and wife Jay, and Cory Simmons; grandsons, Caleb and Caiden Simmons; sisters Carolyn Hogan and husband Lee, Linda Broadway and Teresa Stroupe, and a brother Johnny Deal.
A Celebration of life Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 26th at Springwood Church of God with Reverend Mike Merritt officiating
The family will meet friends following the service.
