Gastonia - Ann Marie Thomas, 57 passed away peacefully on September 27, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on July 26, 1957 to the late Albert Raphael Nona and Carmella Conti Nona
Ann worked at Kohl's in loss prevention for many years. She was a member of First FreeWill Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and camping with her family and friends. Ann loved riding motorcycles when she was able, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Ricky J. Thomas; her children, Lori (Brian) Lovingood, Christina Hicks, and Ricky (Jessica) Thomas; grandchildren Kara, Alex, Brianna, Tristan, Bella, Gemma and Nona; brother Al (Lisa) Nona of Gastonia; sister Angela Nona of Michigan
Memorial Service will be Tuesday, September 30th at 700 pm at First FreeWill Baptist Church, 2316 Union Road, with Reverend John Gibbs and Reverend Darren Gibbs officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 –7:00 pm prior to the service.
Burial will be private
