Alvin Anderson Armstrong

Mr. Alvin Anderson Armstrong, 78, of Franklin, NC passed away Friday, December 27, 2024.

Alvin was born in Gaston County, North Carolina to the late Frank and Clare Anderson Bingham Armstrong. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Alvin was of the Baptist faith. 

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Mason, Herman, Paul, Jack, Linwood, Johnny, Cecil, and Thurman; and two sisters, Ann and Betty. 

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ella Mae Stiwinter Armstrong of Franklin, NC; two sons, Troy Armstrong (Becky) of Franklin, NC and Johnny Armstrong (Christy) of Andrews, NC. Fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, a sister, Becky; and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
