Gastonia- Alphonsene H Brown, 93, went to be with Christ on April 8, 2015.
She was born in Jamaica on August 17, 1921 to the late John and Imogene Newland Holm. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Aston Brown, and a brother George Holm
Survivors include her loving and devoted daughters Colleen Samuels and husband Steven Samuels, Sr.; Audrey Markland and Erroll, Sr.;
Many grandchildren, nieces and nephew too numerous to mention individually but who will miss her love tremendously.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 11th at Firestone Wesleyan Church, 1700 Union Road, Gastonia, NC with Reverend Roger Parsons officiating.
Pallbearers will be
The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:00 am prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park
