Alma Mae H Rhyne

Dallas-Alma Mae Hall 'Granny' Rhyne, 92 of 3011 Cloninger Road, Dallas went home to be with the Lord Thursday, September 29. 2011 at her residence.
She was a native of Lincoln County, born July 11, 1919 to the late
Robert Cameron Hall and Bess Friday Hall. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and retired from textiles.
Ms Rhyne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jake Lamar Rhyne. Brothers, William, Robert, Jim, Blair and Lathan Hall; Sisters Viola Freeman and Bobbie Gates
Survivors include her sons, Johnny L Rhyne of Vancouver, WA
and Jacob Wayne Rhyne and wife Jean of Long Shoals;
daughters, Louise Dixon and husband Charles,
Pat Wooten and husband Benny all of Dallas;
Eighteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and Two Great great grandchildren
The family will receive 1 hr prior to the service from 3:00 until 4:00pm
The funeral service will be 4:00 pm, Sunday, October 2 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Sherrill Curtis and Rev Fred Morrison officiating
Interment will follow in the church cemetery
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054 or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 531 Hardin Rd., Dallas, NC 28034
Pallbearers will be Jason Wooten, Chris Wooten, Matthew Wooten, Jeffrey Briggs, Jake Briggs and Dylan Dixon
