McAdenville – George Albert Inscoe, 78, passed away peacefully on March 27th at his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Granville County on November 10, 1939 to the late James and Annie Milton Inscoe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kay Inscoe Ritch.
Albert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother & friend that will be missed by all who knew him. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He retired from Pharr Yarns after 30 years to serve as President of Cramerton Temple of God Holiness Church. He was a God fearing man who loved the Lord and his family. He served the Lord faithfully and loved his church family. His laugh and sense of humor will never be forgotten. He enjoyed working on his old cars, spending time with his oldest sister looking at pictures and sharing childhood memories of life on the farm.
Left to cherish his memories include his loving wife Reverend Katherine Helton Inscoe;
sons, Albert Dale Inscoe, Darrell Eugene "Gene" Inscoe (Kim);
Grandchildren, Tiffany, Sean, Amanda, Tyler, Shannon, Staci, Hunter, Summer;
Great Grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Aiden, Braelyn, Mason, Kayden, Isla, Cameryn, and Carsyn;
his siblings, Doris (Jack) Williams; JT (Wanda) Inscoe and Linda (Jack) Wilcox
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 29th at Cramerton Temple of God Holiness Church, 5021 Wilkinson Blvd, McAdenville with the Celebration of Life Service to be held at 3:00 p.m., with Rosemary Thomas officiating.
Interment will follow at Evergreen "A Quiet Place" with Military Honors
