Dallas - Albert Craig Evans, Jr., 72 passed away on January 2, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Gaston County on March 2, 1945 to the late Albert Craig and Evelyne Haney Evans.
Craig was a graduate of Dallas High School and North Eastern Christian in Villanova, Pa. He was a lifelong member of Gastonia Church of Christ. Craig was owner and operator of Country House Florist and Caterer.
Left to cherish his memories includes his loving wife of 52 years, Susan Dodgen Evans; three sons, Kevin and wife Beth Evans, Barry and Brent Evans; and a grandson, Joshua Evans.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m., Sunday January 7th at Gastonia Church of Christ, 1919 North New Hope Road, Gastonia
Celebration of Life service will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at Gastonia Church of Christ with Minister Dean Meadows and Reverend Walt Griggs officiating.
Interment will be private
