Gastonia– Mrs. Alamae Ballard Huffstetler, 99 went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 15, 2015 at Peak Resources.

She was born in Gaston County, NC on December 1, 1915 to the late William Loyd and Loni Bell Ballard.

Alamae was a loving wonderful loving mother, grandmother who will be missed greatly! She had worked as a county administrator most of her life before retiring.
She loved spending time with her family. Alamae was a member of Olney Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ralph Thomas Huffstetler,
her two sons Dan and Tim Huffstetler, and a sister Flo Barnes

Left to cherish her memories include 3 grandchildren, Lisa Lawson and husband David, Amy Groves and husband Harry and Danny Huffstetler and wife Lori; 6 great grandchildren, Malissa Cabana (Matt), Michelle Malta (Mike), Kelly Greer (Brian), Cody Huffstetler (Erin), Cathryn Huffstetler, and Clay Groves;
great great granddaughter Ziah Watkins


Family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship building

A Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 21st at 2:00 p.m. at Olney Presbyterian Church with Reverend Danny Huffstetler and Reverend Scott Huffstetler officiating.

Interment will be beside her husband in the church cemetery
