Dallas – Agnes "Nellie" Cornelia Parr Holloway, 77, passed away on August 18, 2020 at the Robin Johnson House.
She was born in Gaston County, on June 11, 1943 to the late Henry and Ada Cook Parr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert Holloway, her siblings, Willie J Parr, Sr., Aaron Gaston Parr, Maggie Parr Holbrooks, and Mary Frances Walker. She retired from Sherman Textiles with many years of service. Nellie attended Garver Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Libby Grubbs, Juanita Holbrooks, Joyce Pilkington, Junior Parr, Yvonne Reep, Patsy Harris and Stevie Parr, brother in law Herman Holbrooks; and many special friends
Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 21, 2020 at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend David Stewart officiating.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Grubbs, Doug Hughes, Terry Bryson, Gavin Bryson and Chris Davis.
Special care givers, Juanita Holbrooks, Libby (Kenneth) Grubbs, Crystal Hughes and Angie Bryson.
